Best way to frame a jersey

I was lucky enough to get a signed Jeff O'Neill Maple Leafs jersey with an 8x10 signed picture. I was wondering the best way to frame it. Does anybody have any layout that would look great?

It has a signature on the front and the back, but the front signature looks a lot nicer and it easier to see.

Update:

Hey, if you're gonna be troll, at least be funny about it, like Beerslayer. Just because you're a Habs fan doesn't make you queen of the world. You are the kind of person that makes the rest of Canada disliek Quebec.

Update 2:

Beerslayer, I know you're no Habs fan nor are you a Quebecer. I'm sure if the jersey was say, a Brian Lee Jersey, you'd think it was hot sutff. But out here, where the NHL is a long trip away, I'm happy to get what exposure I can.

Also the connection through which I got it makes it more special. I got it from his uncle because my mother lost a twin just like his uncle did.

Ask the Los Angeles Police Department. Though they're not as good at framing as they used to be.

Go to your local home improvement center make a large frame from the molding section. Attach to a 2 inch deep box , add glass to the frame . Paint or line the box and add Jersey ;)))

It is a bit pricey, but look towards a display case. They make them for jerseys and have a hanger inside. That way you can change out your jersey when you want to . They run in the 300 and up range though. But if you want just a frame, take it to a professional framer. Find someone with experience in frame collectibles. That way it is done right.

Fold it in the fashion you would like to display it. Measure the Length and width, then find a frame that will house it. Maybe even get a solid wire hanger in the shoulders of the shirt and bend the hook of the hanger out a hole in the back.

Couldn't resist the clearance section at Guy Frenchy's eh? (it's a used clothing store in the Maritimes, and where I got my Canadian Tire polo shirt)

Seriously though you hoser, the frame is worth more than your autographs. If it were Gilmour or Wendel ok, or possibly Salming it'd be worth framing. But for Jeff O'Neill?

Despite our differences sob I offer sincere symathy to your mother and ya'll's famille. I've had lots of people dear to me pass away the past few years too - it's never easy.

Measure the jersey's dimensions (height and width only) and select a frame size. My one teacher had a signed Peter Bondra jersey and she had the same questions

  • Holy crap people it's Jeff O'Neill for crying out loud. Do yourself a favour and go buy some beer.

****sobuhutch. Who are YOU calling a "Troll"...a "Hab fan" and a "Quebecer"?? Give your head a shake....and never come back.

take it to a framing place have them matte it and frame it, if the front looks better i would lay it out flat (with the front showing of course), and there you go!
