I have an old saddle and was told it might be a Bona Allen, how can I tell?

I'm not sure where to look on the saddle. There some writing on one of the metal riggings, but I'm just not positive how to id this saddle.

Here are some samples of Bona Allen's...there should be a stamp somewhere on that saddle stating "Bona Allen".

I'd e-mail this saddle shop owner and have him look for the trademark on his Bona Allens.

Bona Allen saddles are quality-made saddles. Most vintage saddles, even the cheaper ones, were made better than some of the more expensive saddles of today. Most can be hard because padding wasn't used and they often had slick seats. This often doesn't appeal to riders today.

Bona Allan saddles have a 5 petal daisey stamp. Simcoe has a six petal daisey.

you could try bringing it to your local tack shop and asking someone there
