My fiance and I are getting married in just 6 weeks. We're having a rather informal, outdoor wedding and reception in my grandparent's backyard. Rather than asking everyone to bring a dish (which would be insane, considering there will be around 65 people invited) I, and a few helpers, will be making all the dishes. My dad and grandpa are cooking the meat, but I need some suggestions for side dishes and appetizers. No desserts, as they'll need to save room for cake! ;) Thanks!

Deviled eggs, white and dark chocolate covered strawberries. Roast beef pinwheels which ingredients include: deli roast beef with a spread made of ranch dressing mix, sour cream, minced garlic and diced green onion rolled up in a flour tortilla, wrapped in plastic wrap and chilled for a few hours or overnight and then sliced into "pinwheels" (remove plastic wrap first of course).

so i did the exact same thing for my wedding. my husband and i are both chefs, so we did all the food. we made pasta salad, bruschetta, assorted cheese and crackers, hamburgers, grilled chicken, grilled pork loin...i know there was more, but i'm having a brain fart. i would just keep it super simple. we also set out chips, salsa, guacamole, pretzels, and little snacks. we had a ton of extra food, but put it to good use. i hope ur special day goes as planned! enjoy and good luck!!!!

I always think salads and potato bake are real crowd pleasers - also roast veges, fried rice and little bread rolls
