Which NFL team's fans have suffered the most?

I asked this question wayyyy back a few months ago but since it got reported I thought I'd try it again. I like recycling my old questions. :)

So...in your opinion, which team's fans have been through the most pain and suffering?

I say the Lions...they are the black hole of talent.

1 playoff win in 50 years. That's pretty bad.

  • My Brownies. They got stolen by Baltimore. Every fan in the morning where in shock. Cleveland is a football city and always be one. You would never know the feeling if one day you had a football team and the next day you dont. Those were tough years for Clevelanders. Then, the Browns came back and all was happy! But, they didnt do so well in the past years. The fans dont mind. As I said before, the know what it felt like to have no football team. They just enjoy the games and the field and everything about it. Finally, the Browns are back! And I am going to tell you, the suffering will end! But, the memory will never be lost. I love the Browns and we will go far!

It's the Detroit Lions, plain and simple.

Back in the 50's, they were the kings of the NFL. Bobby Layne, Charlie Sanders, Joe Schmidt, Lem Barney, Dick "Night Train" Line, Dick LeBeau. Those were the glory days of the Lions.

But since then, it's been all downhill. Very rarely during that 40 year stretch did you see the Lions compete for anything. But then, Barry Sanders, came along. But even with Sanders on their team, they couldn't build a contender around him, and were constantly one-and-done in the playoffs every time they reached it.

And now, they have to deal with Matt Millen as their VP/GM, and all he's done in Detroit so far is keep that losing atmosphere all around their fans.

With the exception of the Barry Sanders Era, the Lions haven't been great in nearly 50 years. That is truly suffering.

Seriously, how can ANYONE answer anything else other than the Lions? The bills??? Please, if I remember correctly the Bills went to 4 straight SB's boohooo you didn't win any....cry me a river...in Detroit we would kill for a playoff win...how do you think we got the one against Dallas?? Boohoo Green Bay....how many times have you been to the playoffs and SB's?? Cleveland...you come close, but again...you had a nice run with Bernie....The Lions have NO HOPE at all....a GM who would of never survived his third year let alone get an extension on any other team in this league...an owner who thinks of this team as a toy....it's pathetic and a joke....

    Easy answer....the Lions.

Most Definitely it has the Patriots fans those lovely kind hearted careing respectful fans got there heart broken, just because the NFL wanted to screw the Patriots from winning another superbowl, and because the NFL looked look fools, believe that the Patriots cheated to win those Superbowl's, which is wrong there was nothing against the rules that say what the Patriots did was Illegal but then again most NFL fans won't understand that since there IQ is low

So in other words the Colts are one wonders and will never win the Superbowl again and there fans suck, as for the NY Giants there just Paper Champions and are overrated plus they suck too.

The Bengals' fans deserve much better than they have gotten from their team over the years. It was bad enough for the team to be a disappointment on the field. In recent years, the team has become thugs off of the field, not to mention Chad Johnson's constant distractions. Those fans have done nothing to deserve the crap they've been subjected to.

    Probably Miami Dolphins Fans.

1-15, is that suffering enough for you?

or how bout the fact that the dolphins lost Zach Thomas and Jason Taylor?

Or the fact that the dolphins fans dont have a quarterback right now.

so desperate that there were talks of Quincy Carter playing for them.

I say Dolphins Fans have suffered the most.

EDIT: wait a minute, you mean all time? then im not sure,, but so far its the dolphins fans.

I've never actually met a living, breathing Arizona Cardinal fan, but they have to be up there with Lions fans as miserable beyond compare.

The Lions and Cardinals don't even threaten to make the playoffs.
