Help with Console Trade in?

I am wanting to trade in a fully functional PSP for store credit to buy other things in the store. But i was wondering do they do any checks on the console?

Update:

Also how long will it take?

Yes. They check to see if the unit will hold a charge, if the screen is functional, if the drive is functional, if all the buttons are there (lol), that you have all the box content (at most the charger).

Also depends on where you're taking it.

Yep. They check to see if it's in proper working condition.
