If Mexicans Can Travel Visa Free to Canada/Europe/Asia why they choose to go to the USA illegally & Unsafely?

Mexican Passport Holders could visit Visa Free developed countries like Canada,All of Western Europe,Most of Asia and the Americas..why is it that they choose to go to the one country that they need visas for which is the USA?

Why do they pay thousands of dollars to have someone cross them through the dessert, rsiking their lives, and risk getting caught and deported...

when they can fly from mexico directly into Canada for $500 dollars

or to Europe for about $1100 dollars...not risk their lives and probally have better quality of living..Yes they would still be illegal if they overstay in these countries but they wouldnt have risked their lives to reach them?

That's a good question and I have no idea. At first when reading your question I thought "well he just made that up, I can't believe Mexicans can travel to the EU without a visa" but indeed they can come to the EU with just a passport and without a visa.

While that's pretty baffling, it is what it is.

Back to your question, like I said, I'm not sure. Maybe the US is simply closer and you don't need a plane to get there from Mexico, so that makes it pretty convenient, if risky.

Then there's the climate. The climate in the border states of the US is a lot like the one in many parts of Mexico.

I don't believe that a vast majority should be penalized for the actions of a small to nonexistant few. Sure, the UK has a large Muslim population, but the US actually has more Muslims living in it's own land, compared to the UK. How are you going to handle all of those American Muslims? Don't you think that accusing everyone of being a terrorist breeds animosity and hostility? Regulations in national security have already affected tourism in the US. People have no desire to visit America when they are constantly being accused of being terrorists, or manhandled.

It's due to the perception that there is a large hispanic and spanish speaking community here in the US especially in border states like CA, AZ, NM, and TX.

Also, as someone has pointed out above, there are historical ties between the two countries and also Mexican immigrants (both legal and illegal) tend to have family members, relatives, or friends here in the states that can assist them in fiding jobs or place to live once they arrive, unlike in the EU, or even Canada.

well have you ever heard the sentence "the american dream", US has like a shine for them, but they go to canada and they stay there also, but you know something, canada its not a very popular country it is really really good but not everyone knows about them, also in some parts of canada life its more expensive than in us, and remember mexicans leave to provide a better life to the family they leave, so they need to be able to send more money, because us money its more worthy than canadian most of the times, i think its the same with europe.

There's something called a Visa. Perhaps if you applied for more of these a safer commute could be considered but since our laws are ignored at the outset, well.... Everybody else does it. I don't think that they would let you hangout in Europe indefinitely particularly once their prisons start filling up.

Innocent soul, believe it...we can. I think is probably because historical migrations has developed a net of support among those who have established before. Besides, we have an historical relationship as country, and our values are similar, is not the same with europe.

It's possible they don't know they can. Remember not everyone has access to the internet or the resources for information we take for granted. So the possibility of them not knowing is very high.

Why would their standard of living be higher in Canada or western Europe? The avg. poor American is better off (car, TV, consumer goods etc.) than the avg. European (that's avg. European, not avg. poor European).
