What do young earth creationists make of this?

http://uk.news.yahoo.com/afp/20080807/tsc-us-anthr...

Do you believe that these scientists are lying?

Update:

@ joe b. No, I believe that young Earth creationists are lying to perpetuate the myth that their deity even exists.

Update 2:

@ eastanglianuk1951, you really don't get science do you?

no1home2day gets answer of the year. How is able to use a computer with a brain smaller then my left nut? Does he realize that science is what allows us to find the flaw in the alien math?

A young earth creationist has no problems with the science as reported, we just believe all sedimentary rocks were laid down in the flood and few fossils predate 2500 BC. Dates are calculated by evolutionists on the basis that there was no flood. That assumption puts their calculations in error.

someone denying the principles of probability / a system as complex as life is not probable to develop on its own, yet a more complex deity is 100percent probable/ definitely would not understand the principles of probability applied to measure the timescale of mitochondrial DNA... they would deny the well proven and stable mutation rate in mitochondrial DNA, because they dont want to understand those mathematic trivia behind this time measuring. it is the same like the carbon dating, or any other radioactive materials dating.

the creationists simply deny the probabilities applied to measure the age of such materials, be it uranium or mitochondrial DNA

No but i digress. Scientist can think of how but not why. I pitty them because they can only see through laws and dimensions. For example, everything on earth was created by something that came before it. That law must apply to earth then. Therefore earth was created by the universe and gravity, two known forces. But they fail to understand what created the universe or what created the thing that created the universe ect. Making that law theoretically Impossible. Leaving to the inevitability that a god is as plausable if not more plausable! I believe in god because I can only gain. If I don't then I can only lose, in fact lose everything. But whatever I don't have to worry, Im only 13.....lol

If those people were capable of thought they would not be young earth creationists to begin with. Willful ignorance is not a sign of an intelligent brain.

A REAL young earth creationist wouldn't even know how to operate a computer, hence they cannot respond to your question. But I'll bet they don't like it one little bit!

Source(s): Did you know that John McCain doesn't even know how to use a computer to send an email?

I'm pretty sure young earth creationists don't understand what mitochondrial DNA is or what it's implications are in this particular case.

edit: wow I think I just suffered irreversable brain damage by reading no1home2day's post.

Thanks for the exciting news! This is awesome. The truth about our world is expanding more and more! I'm so appreciative that there are people who help further the knowledge of the human race!

I'm sure they will say that it's just not correct and that this whole science idea is just a conspiracy to deviate from god.

Next the scientists will be telling us the Earth isn't flat.
