Babysitting 11 month old? Help?

I have never, ever, baby sat a baby 11 months old before. Hell, I don't know if they wear diapers or not! How dot hey act? Do they walk, talk, crawl, what do they eat?

And I know I seem extremely stupid, but really, I have a younger brother but he's only 2.5 years younger than me so I don't remember anything.

I have an 11 month old and he crawls around everywhere, likes to pull himself up and stand where ever he can. I just let him crawl around a big room with toys and he enjoys cruising around, keep him away from danger zones when hes crawling though, like sharp corners, items he can choke on, etc. They dont talk yet, they babble, mine says mama, dada, caca, etc. Mine can eat anything I do, just cut up small and soft. For example, he eats yobaby yogurt, applesauce, small pieces of banana, soups, mac n cheese, soft cooked veggies, cooked chicken cut up very small, gerber puffs that melt in his mouth, he also still drinks formula as well. Oh and yes they should still be in diapers. ;)

lol...it'll go fine. Ya they still wear diapers... i think they crawl and sometimes try and stand up.. i don't really know what they eat. but i'm pretty sure the parents of the baby will tell you what you can feed him/her. hope this helps.

You should not be babysitting if you don't know how to take care of this child, The parents would be happier if you just told them the Truth.

Take some classes at your rec. center if they offer it, or find someplace that does.
