Toyota Yaris vs Honda Fit?
I'm 16 and my parents are deciding between the Toyota Yaris or the Honda Fit for my first car and I have a say in it too but I have no idea. What is you opinion and let me know how the car is if you have it!
I live in New England so it's gotta be good in the snow and stuff too.

Honda Fit
the Yaris has a noisy unrefined engine, bad brakes and an unsettled Hwy ride. You might get use to the center mounted gauges but the terrible ride will never get better.
The Fit comes well equipped with standard power accessories, antilock brakes, and curtain air bags
Highs: Versatile interior, handling, fuel economy, standard ABS, powertrain, controls, access, turning circle, crash-test results, reliability.
Honda's small four-door hatchback offers easy access and good visibility, and has an amazing amount of interior room. The rear seats can be folded flat or the cushion can fold up against the backrest, creating a deep, flat floor that can accommodate bulky or tall items. While not overly powerful, the Fit feels responsive, with a smooth and willing engine, and agile handling. Overall fuel economy is an excellent 34 mpg for the manual and 32 mpg for the automatic. The ride is a bit choppy but supple enough.
the Nissan Versa, Chevy Aveo and Toyota Yaris are all poor choices compared to the Honda Fit.
get the Sport version for added accessories and fun.
The Mazda3 is wonderful car if you can spend more money.

The yaris is cheaper and it's been all I needed. The color of red is brighter and the car is just cuter. Fit is better if you need a back seat that is split. Otherwise, yaris.

If they decide between Fit and Yaris, then they know about cars. Both cars a great. I drive 2012 Yaris. I am very happy with it. It is not noisy. It has much space inside. I know nothing about Fits. I say you must test drive.

Check out the Scion XD (made by Toyota)....better than the Yaris, about equal to the Fit but for less money and IMO more stylish....I'm loving mine.....

the honda fit is ugly and a bit out unstylish. i think you would find the 2 door coupe yaris cuter also more practical.
every time i see anybody driving a fit all i wanna do is go up to them and tell them that they bought the wrong car!

Toyotas are not bad cars, but as for car techonology, safety and other features, Honda is always a class above Toyota.
