If as I have read many non believer's don't want to hear christian "nonsence" then why

Boobooloo, you need to check this section's title again. It's under "Society and Culture" "Religion and Spirituality" NOT "Christians ONLY".

WHY do YOU see it as ONLY a forum for Christian Q'S & A'S? There are over 300 different Religions and probably just as many forms of Spirituality.

Your Question infers that ONLY Christians are the only one's who are entitled to express their Religion and that non-Christians do NOT belong here. Atheists too, have a Spirituality and hold to a moral standard. They just do NOT ascribe it to a Dogmatic Deity.

If SOME of the answers to this question are ANY indication of what Christianity is all about then is it any wonder that folks find your REligion to be nothing but a hate filled set of rules and that peace, love, and acceptance, to say nothing of freedom of worship is fine ONLY as long as it is shown to OTHER Christians. Is THAT following the example of your Jesus? Is THAT in keeping with his ways?

Now, if you WANT a Christian ONLY section, then get a lot of folks together and petition for such a section. However, STAY in your section for the REST of us will have the SAME right to be able to form our own section. But NO, you won't DO that for YOU believe that YOUR ways are the ONLY ways that are acceptable and that you have the RIGHT and DUTY to convince, cajole, trick and decieve everyone else into adopting YOUR ways and you won't stay in your own section. So why should anyone else? Accordinly, Yahoo WON'T make sections for each individual group that makes a request for one.

in light of your edit, i feel that you dont quite mean what i said, ie the why are atheists here

so i will give a response and appoligise for my assumption

if you are referring to all non christians, thats a lot of differnt people and groups and beleifs and reasons

i can only give my own and maybe even some of those i know here may agree too

basically

wanting to hear knowledge from a certain group, ie christains, about their thoughts, expereinces, life and religion, is differnt from wanting to hear some of the bible quotes, that so many so often retort to when you ask them a question, or wanting to hear 'your going to hell heathen'

that would probably be the "nonsense" referred to that you have heard , the fact that when you as some of them a question, you never get their thoughts, you get a bible quote, or a threat, that they have learned off by heart, and it feels insincere, as if it is not from them, but from the book

retaliation with the same, as much as it seems silly, or puzzling, to others, is only a fair and instinctual way to react

so when "non beleivers fill up this section with answers and questions concerning god and christainity" they are asking for knowledge, answers, thoughts

and why do some practice the same thing that they condem.."holding authority over the truth"

well im not sure about that, some people do some people dont, but its from all sides, not any specific, christians also do this too

which woudl be why many people "retaliate with the same"

if you feel someone is being unreasonable, and unwilling to listen to you or your side or your thoughts, or see it from your perspective you tend to at some point give up and say ah well if you cant beat em join em

or why play fair when im not being treated fair

so that is maybe a reason why you see this kind of thing here

I keep trying to ask an honest question to unbelievers, but it hurts them so much someone prevents it from even being posted. Such actions do make me question their sincerity. Is satan really behind it all? I really try to give the benefit of the doubt to their conscience, but perhaps my trust is unfounded. Am I really being naive enough not to judge them? I know that in my heart I will not condemn them since only God is the judge. But this type of reaction from them is really turning me in the other direction. Again, possibly satan is behind it more than I thought. I really am a little surprised. Should I be? I really do not want to believe it that dramatically. I personally prefer to give them the true benefit of the doubt.

Why must you think this section is only for those that believe in your god?

Are you not aware of the many different paths and religions out there?

Who said I had to be an adherent to one of those paths to be interested in learning about them?

Have you considered maybe I might have some knowledge and can provide someone with an answer?

I use science and the scientific method to try to arrive at the truth. Is that what you're talking about?

Maybe they are hoping to here some Christian sense? Its a rare gem in these parts but one worth waiting for.

We don't actually condemn you. We're just pointing out that your god-belief has no basis in real evidence and often causes people to do silly things, like attempt to stifle education and scientific discovery.

Some just want to have worth found in themselves. Some just want to be helpful. Others just don't want to be alone in their beliefs.

When in darkness, people seek to find light in some way or another, so they can find their way. By trying to deicde what is true and what is not. When, in reality, only Jehovah God can decide what is truth. And He gave us His Bible so that we can know the truth. And thus be set free.

Y'know, I do have a religious question I haven't asked yet because I didn't think anyone had the truth, and after your challenge I feel emboldened to ask it.

STOP calling people nonbelievers. Everyone believes in something, they just may not believe in your particular fantasy.

As for your question... we are trying to get you people to THINK about your religion rather than follow blindly.

And we don't give one flying crap whether you believe in your god or not, we are trying to get you to understand that you need to butt the hell out of other peoples lives.

I am not quite understanding? Are you saying that philoshophy is just like religion? If yes, than think about how when people talk about philoshophy they say "Well if this was true..." or "If that did happen"

When in religion they say "Well since this is true" or "Since that did happen"

I may not understand what you asked fully please elaborate?
