Availability. If it's on a channel I can get, I will watch it. I've never been company-biased. I wish you could have gotten to see the "territories"; the variety was incredible. Uh, Gary, it's wrestling, duh. Yes, but each promotion has it's own "flavor". It's all wrestling but TNA is different from the WWE, and ROH is different from both of them. Japanese promotions are nothing like American promotions. Mexican promotions are different from everybody else, as well. That's what I mean by "flavor".
The major factor in my enjoyment of each promotion's offerings is the quality of their wrestling matches, not their "star power". WCCW was my favorite promotion of all-time and I was very sad when they closed down. Not only did they have great wrestlers and entertaining storylines (which were ALL wrestling storylines) but they had some incredibly intense feuds. If ESPN Classic ever reruns WCCW, make it a point to watch it!
There have been a couple of instances where the quality of the wrestlers' performances were not enough to save the show. Wrestling Society X had some very talented performers but the production was so bad that the show was pretty much unwatchable. XPW had some great performers, including Terry Funk for a short time, but their TV show was just horrible.

WWE was the first wrestling company i watched and i decided to watch that because my older brother was. I grew up on it and i've always liked it. Things like watching TNA, i decided to do when my favorite Wrestler switched there, Jeff Hardy. I was only 11 at the time and i hadn't really heard of TNA, when i first watched it i wasn't so keen on it because i was so use to WWE. But i decided on watching it because im mad on wrestling and if it was wrestling i didn't care.
I dont really know how i decide, it depends if i like it or not, i tend to decide when i watch it. Sometimes i like it and sometimes i dont.
I decide on the quality of wrestling too, which is when it comes to wrestling i prefer things like ROH & TNA over WWE. But when it comes to storylines i prefer WWE. Each Promotion i watch has some i liked which is why i decided to watch it. I like WWE for the storylines, entertainment, annoucing ect...
I like TNA & ROH for the wrestling and the way they use talent properly - something WWE doesn't normally do.

All PPV's Under Extreme Rules Does Kind Of get Boring After A While. Same With The "Present on A Pole". That's Kind Of...Stupid, No Offense. I Would Probably Watch This. Oh, And The Canadian Championship Is Kind of Stupid, Too.

Like my great grandpa Kahoona always says it is not the power of the wave but the juice in the coconut.
