Calendula mother tincture would help get rid of the scars n yes raw greated potato with sandal could be used every night for good results!

i would say if they are healing still, go for a product called rejuveness (plastic surgens suggest it to reduce post scarring) if they are already healed and quite old, i would say mederma or vitamin e products are your best bet for creams. personally, the only thing that worked for my old scars was a chemical peel though.
