What is a good funny reading for a wedding

I am getting married next Friday, and we are really struggling to come up with a decent reading for the wedding. It is a church wedding but we are having 1 religious reading (inevitably, 1 Corinthians) and a non-religious reading. As i said, i would ideally like something humorous. I have tried searching google but it comes up with quotes that are far too short for a reading. Anyone got any ideas?

Update:

Well thanks for being so sanctimonious and unhelpful Jonny B, but i wasn't after a full stand up routine, just something to keep the mood happy and upbeat. God forbid anyone should enjoy themselves at a wedding eh?! The wedding vows and service will be a declaration of commitment, there's not reason why we shouldn't enjoy it and be happy.

Thanks for the suggestions missjokkeler. It's more a reading we're after than vows (which we are keeping traditional) and we're not a big fans of poetry, but the ideas are appreciated.

And gamefreek, you truly are the world's greatest living comedian. Pure genius.

Update 2:

Jonny B, i appreciate what you are suggesting, but i think our families are rather less stuck up than yours. The wedding will be a happy occasion, and a slightly amusing reading (not offensive or vulgar, just a bit amusing) will not cause any problems. Quite the opposite.

Incidentally, i'd be extremely worried if i thought that my marriage would break up over something as minor as a humorous 2 minute reading on the wedding day. You must have been in some really flimsy relationships! We are in love, it would take a hell of a lot more than that to split us up.

It's not really funny but it's by far something very different. Look for "Oh the places you'll go" by Dr Seuss.

They also have Dr Seuss vows that could be funny too.

    Good Luck!

Weddings are about the public declaration of committment to another human being. They are not about entertainment. Save that for the reception.

EDIT #1......I stand by what I said...the ceremony is an inappropriate time for what you plan. If you think that your family and friends won't think so and talk about you behind your back than you are sadly mistaken.

The WEDDING is the ceremony...the reception is the party....save this for the party.

By the way...you may actually offend some people by this. But, you sound as if you don't care.

Remember me at your divorce hearing someday.
