I am working on a children's story and I need help with a name for the main character

my "working title" is Therelda. But that is such a mouthful.

I'd like it to be easy to pronounce yet a little mysterious. Any suggestions?

    Elvira

I know it's associated with "Mistress of the Dark", but I absolutely love that name. Very pretty, kind of mysterious. I would definitely take it as my pen name.

    Mira, maybe?

How about Elliot? (Even if it is a girl)

You could always go with a natur-ish name like Sky, Leaf, Storm, Petal...

Good luck! I usually have name troubles also.
