Why did Bush not condemn Pres. Saakashvilli of Georgia for the murder of over 2000 Russian civilians ?

News flash: politics is not about doing what is right. It is about doing what is politically expedient. In this case, it wasn't to Bush's political advantage to condemn Saakashvilli.
ADDITION: Bush supported the proposal for Georgia's entry into NATO [1]. Naturally, this can be spun in a number of different ways. However you spin it, NATO was created to counter Soviet Russia. That it not only still exists but is intended to be expanded to one of Russia's next door neighbors can only seem threatening to me. Clearly, the U.S. (along with NATO) have some kind of an agenda in Georgia. I don't know what really goes through their heads, but they certainly have motives to downplay or ignore charges of murdering Russian civilians.

Because Bush has worked himself into a rather tight spot.
Our "Coalition of the Willing" is dwindling. What started as 40 countries is now down to 10; and one of those, Norway, counts even though they have a grand total of ONE soldier in Iraq (handling receptionist duties).
Bush still needs allies, and Georgia happens to be one of those allies. In fact, Georgia has (or had, they've now been airlifted back to Georgia) the 3rd highest total number of soldiers in Iraq after the US and Britain. He doesn't want to alienate them.
But then Bush has to be careful not to alienate Russia, either. When the time comes to really deal with Iran, he's going to need Russian support--especially in the UN.
That's one of the major reasons why Bush's main offense in this whole situation has been one of saying, "We are very angry, and if you don't stop we are going to write a letter telling you how angry we are."
We can't do a whole lot anyway, our troops are tied up in Iraq and Afghanistan and so we don't have the real ability to threaten Putin and Medvedev in any real way. But Bush could be protesting a whole lot harder and maybe even trying economic sanctions against Russia; but he needs their help with Iran and so he has to keep it to no more than what he is doing now.

And what for did Russia built another pipeline.
The ONLY interest U.S got there is power in region.

I do not think he knew about it as he was busy planning his trip to Beijing olympics. You see a man of Bushe`s intellect can only do one thing at a time. you see he is good at murdering innocents not defending them my source is war in Iraq. how many have been kill led there did the US keep any count of it`s tragic history by invading so how could he say anything to anyone else?

Probably because it's a gross exaggeration or completely untrue. In any case Bush likes to threaten countries with vastly inferior military forces so he will have to walk very carefully around Russia.

The Americans are seeking reasons to weaken the Russians. They won't condemn the Georgians. The slaughter of even more Russians won't irritate them.: But war is a sad thing.

Because Russia is the one who has been bombing the **** out of Georgia. Civilians die in war. It is completely unavoidable. Georgia is just trying to defend its country.
If it were not for Russia giving military threats to Russia and offering aid to those groups then they would not have died and there would be no war.

What is your source?
Stories I read Russia says 1800 dead but Georgia says 130. It depends on who you believe.
I believe Bush condemned actions from both countries.

He does not care about them. He cares about Georgia being a U.S. base for a wider war for hegemony per the neoconservative plan.
