are plasma LCD TV,s worth buying? opinions are open.

just need your opinion or experience if ever you had owned one.

    They are two different tvs and depends on how often you want to replace them Plasma has about a life span around 10 years because of the gas that is sealed in side of the tube where lcd is liquid crystal and well they can last for ever depends on how they are treated right now most people are going with lcd because of the options and the long life span so yes lcd tvs are worth buying in the long run

    Only with hidef signals. I know many people who buy hidef plasma and lcd tvs but only watch regular cable and regular 480 dvds. Of course the thinness and ability to be mounted on the wall is sexy but a good old fashioned quality tv such as the old sony wegas will beat a hidef tv on non hidef video any day.

    if you will get a shitty $1000 tv, then no, they are not worth it. If you will buy the best $3000 BIG screen full hd tv, then yes, they are worth it.
