For the "depends on your build" answers...I'm 5'10", 178 pounds.

Update 2:

Cost is also not an issue, as I have a coupon for $15 off of $30 or $30 off of $75, which makes both pairs about the same price.

    I definitely like pair # 2 better but since they are buy 1 get 1 1/2 off you might as well get both
