How embarrassing right, but I have been diagnosed with an Anal Fissure. It is the most painful thing I have ever felt and I am having a hard time dealing with this. It has only been a few days since I was seen and I am on stool softeners and trying a high fiber diet. I have been prescribed nitroglycerin for the area and a muscle relaxer (I haven't gotten them filled yet). I am taking Ibuprofen 800mg tablets in hopes that it will reduce the inflammation. I really need some good advice and home treatments for this. I have to use the bathroom but am having very big anxiety over doing so as I know how much pain I will be in and how much bleeding is going to occur. Please let me know how to deal with this. I am looking to add some new summer dishes to our menu at work and would like some idea's, advice and inspiration. Am looking for new takes on pasta and macaroni salad, potato salad, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, beans, salads (fruit and veggie), desserts.... the list could go on and on. OK.. Don't get all PETA on me or anything as I am not meaning for anything to happen to the kitties I try to adopt. I want a pet, a pet cat to be exact, but I seriously think that I have a curse that will not allow me to actually keep one. Here is my story.

When I was about 8 years old I brought a kitten home with me on my walk home form school. Spooky was his name. He was an awesome little kitty, used to brush my hair with his claws at night. We moved out on a country road and Spooky decided that in the middle of that road was a good place to sleep. It was not! Needless to say I returned home as my dad was cleaning up the mess that was once Spooky and I was devestated.

We moved back into the city years later (about 14 now) and my friend brought me a little gray kitty as a present. Some how the kitten got outside and we never saw it again. For a while I was done with cats, until I got my own apartment and my neighbors cats had kittens. There was a beautiful cream colored tiger who just strolled right up to me and I knew that was the kitty for me. Within two months Honey was sick, throwing up everywhere. I took her to an emergency vet who diagnosed Honey with FIV and put her to sleep. What a sad day that was. So within a month or two I got Pumpkin and Shadow. Pumpkin got into a poisonous plant (those things should come with warnings) and ended up being severlly messed up from it. I moved back into my parents house to go back to college and Shadow and Pumpkin both got out. I searched and searched and posted pics and looked at the shelter but they were just GONE!!!

Fast foward a few more years. My daughter was born. And my aunts kitty had babies. So I adopted Sweetie, and within a week a big metal fan fell on her when we were out and we came home to find her dead. Then there was Tigger and No Name. No name is said to have escaped while I was at work and Tigger got out months later. I got him back after a week or so but he wasn't the same. Just kept peeing on himself and wouldn't leave the window sill. About a week later my boyfriend opened are door up and Tigger fled. I tried to get Tigger back but he was just GONE! No one had seen him at all. A year later I decided that this is it. I really want a pet cat and I found the perfect little kitty on Craigslist. My bf and I had just moved into a nice big home and I love pets. My sister has a cat and a dog, my mom has a cat and a dog. Why can't I?? So I make the drive and adopt the kitty. Within a week it is next to my stove dead. No reason, no blood, no vomit. Nothing! Just this past month I got another kitty and the same thing. Just dead within a few days! We pulled out our stove where Squeaker was playing and we found rat poisoning. I am greatful that we rarely let our daughter in the kitchen and am very upset that this poison was in the house but what is going on with me?? Why can I not keep a pet??? Seriously am I cursed????????????????????????????

Hi everyone. My 2 year old absolutely adores kitty cats and since she is turning 2 and will be out of her crib soon, I thought that I should redo her room in a cat theme. I absolutely adore Rachael Hale but the only bedding I have found is over seas. I do not like Hello Kitty, but would rather have the theme be "real" kittens and light pink. Does anyone have any idea's for me? Please provide any websites. Thanks!!!

Hey everyone. My daughter, who is 2, loves kitty cats! I want to redo her bedroom with a pretty Pink Kitty cat theme and have been all over the internet trying to find anything Rachael Hale (as far a bedding goes) or fabrics with her type photography on them. Anything I have found has come from the UK and I do not know how to convert their prices into US dollars, and furthermore, the shipping is nearly twice that of the product. Sooooooooo........

Any help at this point would suffice. Any bedding, any fabric, any wall hangings, posters, figurines, or just ideas would be a tremendous help.

For one of my college courses I have to interview a person who is in law enforcement, and because of my personal career choice I am leaning towards it being a Probation Officer. More than likely, and hopefully, one who deals with juveniles.

I have quite a few questions that I know for sure I want to ask like; most rewarding/least favorable aspect of job, If the person I interview has personally seen a rise or a decline in # of juvenile delinquents, Daily routine of job (or can you run me through a typical day as a p.o.), A typical reason or pattern of why children act out or go through the system. These are just a few I have thought of.

Can you give me some ideas of what you would ask? I am looking for unique questions that I may not have thought of and also really good, solid questions. Thanks everyone!!

I have to set up a proposal for an interview in my college course. I have to interview a person in the criminal justice field (more than likely a probation officer) and need to come up with at least 15 questions to ask.

I am not asking for anyone to do my work for me as I am more than capable, I am just looking for new ideas or some really good questions that I didn't think of.

Ok, I'm looking for a good drink recipe so that I can enjoy a few drinks with my husband tomorrow night. He's not much of a drinker so I'd like to make something that is tasty, romantic, indulgent and creamy. Almost like a dessert in a cup lol. My boyfriend has quite a few tickets on his license that he never bothered to pay! The last one was about 4 years ago and he now has a suspended license (surprise, right?) IK! Anyways, none of these tickets were for a DUI or DWI.... I know he has one seat belt violation, one speeding and driving w/o a license (thats when we found out his license was suspended) and I'm not sure about the others because they were when he was a lot younger.

Now, that he is a dad and has grown up he would love to be able to get his CDL and drive truck, however, I don't know if that will ever be a possibility for him. So thats where my question comes in.

Is there anyway possible, with the help of an attorney, that he could get these charges cleared of his record? Has anyone else had a bad driving record and gotten it cleared? Got their CDL?

I want to call different law offices tomorrow to see what their advice would be, but I would like to sound a little intelligent about this matter and what I would like them to do. Any suggestions?

My boyfriend wants to go to National Tractor Trailer School in the very near future. He has finally figured out what career he wants :) The only problem is he has a suspended license because of unpaid tickets dating back to when he was 18. Nothing major just a few traffic violations and a speeding ticket (NO DWI's Or DWAI's) I know he should have taken care of it way back then but he was young and dumb. We are contacting a lawyer this week to fix that problem up. My question is, would he get hired or even be able to go to NTTS with those tickets on his license? Thanks all!

Why do people purposely misspell words on here? I really can't stand it! The most annoying words on here that i've seen is wut(what), da(the), dat(that) and here is my all time favorite (i'll give it to you in their sentence)... "What the most comterablest underwear"... the what? I know most of you that do this are young but seriously it's not cute and it makes my brian actually hurt trying to decipher what you are trying to say! If you are unsure use your spell checker! Anyone find any other spellings on here that drive them nuts too??

I was just watching the history channel and they had a program about neo-nazi's on and I thought to myself "How ridiculous!" How can anyone hate someone based on the color of their skin? I really don't get it, do you? And they were protesting foreigners being in this country, and yet that is what this country is based upon- how "America" started. If you are not a full blood Native American then you are a descendant of a foreigner. I guess my question is Is anyone else sickened by the hate that some people have for absolutely no reason other than the color of ones skin. And if you are a racist- why? Seriously why?? Cause I don't get it.

Do you know the name of those teddy bears (and bunnies and other animals) that were pastel colors and had stitches on them. I cannot figure out the name of these and would like to have them on my daughters birthday cake. Please help if you can and any links to pics would be appreciated. Thanks!!

Alright. Coming into this election I was hell bent on voting for Barack Obama. I thought, my gosh, I cannot wait to get Bush and his cabinet out of office. To me, McCain sounds like another George Bush, and he looks too old to last 4 years in office (sorry everyone). I must add that I really do love his choice for VP, she is way better than Clinton would have been for either VP or president. So as to not upset anyone all I am asking is.... Isn't it about time we give Ralph Nader a try???? Our other candidates are so kooky this time around that I feel its almost my duty to vote for him LOL.

I just got done watching The Painted Veil starring Edward Norton and am sooooo frustrated at the ending. Why does hollywood do this crap??? Anyone else seen a decent movie with a bad ending lately?????

I had a cat but had to get rid of him a few weeks ago. When we had our cat I really didn't notice any fleas but now that he is gone they are biting us. My poor daughter, who is still crawling, was getting bit like crazy. So we sent her to her grandma's two days ago so we could get rid of the problem. We were going to bomb the house, but really didn't want to use the poison (seeing how she is going to be crawling on the floor). So we stripped all our bedding and washed it, vacuumed the couches, chairs, bed and floors really well and threw all of her plush toys in the dryer just in case they had fleas on them. Before I would have been bitten at least 10 times by this time today, but have only been bitten twice. I want to bring my daughter home today but really want to make sure these things stay off of her. Will flea traps work?? How do you make them and will they keep the fleas from biting her? Should I use some kind of powder on my carpets and couches? Is there something that is non-toxic to humans but kills fleas? I really want to get rid of this problem but don't want there to be any chance that my daughter will be harmed.
