Can you still drink a 10 year old Blason des Papes, Cotes de Rhone?
Well, i got it from my brother who doesn't drink whine so I doubt he handled it with lots of care
there was also a bottle of Moet & Chandon champagne.

That vintage was pretty stellar in the Southern Rhone but many factors play into your wine's "drink-ability". How was it stored? At ten years old, a lighter wine, as most Cotes du Rhones are, stored in hotter temps may very well be cooked at this point. However, if it was stored with at least a reasonable amount of care it should be ok. I doubt at this age it will be stellar, but there's only one way to find out, and that's to open it up and have a smell.
