What is "kink-curious or in the scene"?

I found this ad looking for apartments and am wondering what this means? Anybody actually know, i'm not looking for guesses, I've already had a few, myself.

    kink curious means "we're sex fiends and probably want to sleep with our roommates..either that, or we're going to keep you awake at night with our bondage and shrieking"

    'in the scene' usually means goth, emo, artsy, or scene...but there's a concern it may also refer to the drug culture

    I would avoid them.

    'The Scene' usually means the bondage/ S&M scene.
