Will a war between Georgia and Russia cause problems for the US, concerning the presidency.?

Will Pres. Bush have to remain President if we become involved with in conflict between Russia and Georgia soverienty.

    The only way that could happen would be for something terrible to occur. By that I mean nuclear war, which given the way Russia is acting lately it's not as much of a long shot as one might think.

    If this were to happen it is conceivable that Bush would put a hold on the election until a time that society had begun to recover. This is not unprecedented. All Democracies have gone through periods of "Dictatorship", for lack of a better term, in times of extreme crisis.

    You should read the book "Constitutional Dictatorship; Crisis Government in the Modern Democracies" by Clinton Rossiter.

    Very unlikely. Extensions of presidential terms usually require that it not be possible for the people of the US to vote for president, for example if we were occupied and physically incapable of doing so. So long as the homeland is fine, continuation into the next president will occur, they will just inherit whatever conflict is going on.
