What do YOU think of the plan to remake The Rocky Horror Picture Show?

The film is a massive cult movie and one that will be hard to remake for sure. Loyal fans to which it has many will probably slate it when its released.

However,i think there has been enough time between then and now for a new generation who have probably never heard of it. So as long as its done properly and with BRITISH actors then yeah it would be intresting to see. But i think it was one of those lightning in a bottle kinda movies that could only be pulled off once.

I don't think it'll live up to the original. Tim Curry was way too good. You can't beat the master.

We are running out of movie ideas and having to remake the originals-it just doesn't work that often.

I'll watch it, but I hope it's worth it.

I agree. I have yet to see a remake that can live up to the original. and in this case with the original being such a cult classic I don't see how it will ever do justice to the original.

I DO!!! i am a big fan of RHPS! the new one WONT be as good as the old one... but i think of remakes as cover versions.. (99% of the time wont be as good but u never know!) but i find it facinating to see a diffrent take on a story (spesh ones i LOVE) and so what if its Bad? dosnt ruin the old one! give it a try :D no skin off my/oour noses (us as fans) if its bad! i heard they were going to do it as frankNfurter was a plastic surgeion or somehting.. good question!

Unless Meatloaf and Tim Curry star in it again which well..no offense they're just wayyyy to old, it'll suck complete and utter ***. The fact that a poorly done movie made it to cult status just to get raped by Hollywood sorta makes me sick.

Two thumbs down! Why would you remake something that is intentionally campy? They're asking for trouble, and it'll tank.

I saw the original and I thought that it was good. It does not need to be remade. It is just a ploy to get money.

It's a horrible idea. Hollywood just doesn't know when to freakin' quit. Leave the classics alone.
