out dated pancake mix kill healthy 19 yr old.?
i just wanted to alert people , a mother fixed her son pancakes, he said they tasted funny, an ate them any way. 6 hrs. later.he was dead, a young child ate waffles, had a terrible astma attack. come to find out. it was old out dated p.c. mix. so they say check dates on that and bisquick, the flour in it get mold, you cant see. so every one check there pantrys. i checked mine. i could'nt find a date. so i tossed it.please warn every one you know.rather be safe then sorry.

If you don't have a severe mold allergy, you needn't fear your pancake mix; if you do have such a sensitivity, you shouldn't keep your flapjack makings around for a few years after opening the box or pouch it came in. It's not worth dying over fifty cents' worth of pancake mix. When in doubt, throw it out.

Yes if someone is already allergic to mold, to much of it can be fatal.

ohh geez thats scary. i make pancakes a lot. ill be careful not to use outdated ones!
