Did you see all the Trinidad and Tobago and Caribbean?

athletes advance to the next round of the Mens 100M race at the Olympics last night??!!!!!!!

Update:

Jaz, Darren Brown never disappoints me as i dont really expect anything from him. i know that he can run however most of his races recently has been disappointing.

Boy Julien, you see that too, most of the guys..Bolt, Powell, Thompson, Burns shut down just after 50 meters and simply cruise to the finish. right now im just waiting for semis.

What i also watched is that people like ...dat next guy from USA (Patton i think) looked like he ran all out just to win his heat. lol.

Special mention to Kim Collins (St. Kitts), Derrick Atkins (Bahamas) and Frater (Jamaica) who are all in the semi finals.

no matter what they do or how they place, they would have made us all proud.

Update 2:

WOW!!! the men 100 finals has 6 caribbean athletes - bolt, powell, frater from jamaica. burns, thompson from trinidad, martini from netherland antilles, and two american - dix and patton.

Guy didnt make it. (my throat still hurting from all that shouting lol).

ohh and there are 3 trinbagonians on to the second round of the women 100m race.

Update 3:

9.69 by Jamaica's Bolt!!! ah new World and Olympic record - Gold

6.89 by T&T's Thompson a personal best for Silver.

Boy if allyuh didnt see dat final, look out for it, it was SPECTACULAR!!!

both of them slow down about 80 meters and cruised over the line! Bolt actually danced over the finish line.

yeahhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!!

Update 4:

Not patton Dix was third. and the guy from netherland antilles was fourth, powell fifth, burns sixth, den patton and frater. i think that was the final results, im not sure about patton and frater doh.

Update 5:

Well after all that, allyuh know i had to big up the Jamaican women!! 1st, 2nd, AND 3rd in the women 100m. Wow Wow!!

HOW GREAT WAS THAT!!!!

I am proud of everyone. I havent seen the finals yet, but I know Usain Bolt beat the world record, I know Thomspon came in second place and Darvis Patton for third. I can't wait to see it come on later on.
