If you have already tried yelping, or giving a toy in place of your arm, as funny as it might sound, if he bites, get up and walk away. He should soon associate the biting with you not wanting to be around him. Hopefully that will help. If not, you can go to petsmart, or any other pet store and get a bottle of bitter apple spray. If he bites you, spray a squirt in his mouth. It is harmless, but the dogs can't stand the bitter taste. We had a foster dog, and that worked wonders with her!

I agree that he's probably teething. I have had 2 labs myself and when they were going through that stage i gave them ice cube to chew on. It kind of helps relieve the pain from the teething. So i would try that but if he still goes for your arm try rolling up a news paper and smack him lightly on the butt, not too hard but hard enough that he knows he shouldn't be doing that. Rawhides are a good teething toy too. Hope this helps!
