Should I put a new car under my name if I have better credit but lower income than husband?
My husband and I are looking to purchase a vehicle. I have better credit than my husband but make 3,000 less than him per month. He makes more money but a lower credit score, how should we go about making the deal? If we add his income will they have to run his credit as well..

You have a couple of options here and I'm assuming your credit score is significantly higher than your husbands. If you don't need your husbands income to get the loan and don't care about raising his score and want a slightly lower interest rate, than get the car on your own. Otherwise, you can put him on the loan which will ultimately raise his score down the road. And yes, if you use his income his credit will be run as well.

buy on ur name it doesn't matter if u make less than your husband cuz ur credit is good.. if they check ur husband's credit and its not good as your's then rate of interest for financing the car would be high...but as u say ur credit is good then if its under ur name interest would be less
