Baseball fans:You guys going to watch Michael Phelps go for his 8th gold tonight in the Olympics?

I agree with you. I'm starting to like the olympics too. I can always have something good to watch late at night. It's exciting! USA is doing well in a lot of different sports and really fun to watch! Michael Phelps is amazing! I know he will win today! I've been watching every race of his. =]

I also am starting to like the Olympics more than ever now too. The Redeem Team is crushing everything in their path. Phelps for 8 gold medals, Dara Torres still swimming. Phelps winning his seventh was one of the best races. I am going to watch him break it tonight and can't wait. I think they made the right call because I think Phelps just won by a hair. Truly amazing.

Yeah I'm liking the Olympics a bit better for the same reasons as you, but I will not be watching. I wish Phelps the best and he is extremly good looking by the way, so I considered BUT I am a much bigger football fan and I will be watching Bears pre-season football.

I know the Olympics seems much more important, but I can't help it. I guess it's being an American lol.

I'm definitely going to watch it, I wouldn't miss it! He singlehandedly has made me interested in the olympics. I'll be waiting for one of his races, and get into volleyball or gymnastics, or diving. He has drawn my attention to it and now I love watching it! I've even missed a bunch of Phillies games this week watching the olympics. (sooooo not like me!)

Last night was SO close. As close as could be. Cavic had it WRAPPED UP. I have no idea how Phelps snuck in, but thats what he does best!!

Ps. For those of you on the west coast saying you wish they would show it live, I heard on thursday that if he were going for the record 8 golds tonight, it would be shown live all over the country, check your local listings!

Yes i am, though i wished the west showed it live.. i mean i don't want to be on the internet and find out if he broke the record i want to know by watching it! that's the only thing :(

Finally some drama in his individual races. i mean Phelps makes it seem like everything he does is a piece of cake! My fav one was the 4x100 relay with the US team!! Lezak was CRAZY!!

Not sure what this has to do with baseball (GO ANGELS!!), but yes. I LOVE the olypics and I will be watching Phelps tonight going for 8. && yeah that win last night had me going for second, but in the end he turned it out - as expected(:

i watch whenever i can, but if i dont see it then i dont see it. So far ive seen only 4 of his races live, including last nights which was amazing. I have things to do so hopefully ill get lucky and see it live, if not ill watch a replay.

I was sitting in the edge of chair then I thouth like you, that he lost. Then I hear that he won, haha let's just say my mom was chasing me with a pot on her hand, that's how badly me and sister yelled.

And of course I'm gonna see him win his 8th Gold Medal tonight.
