I have wavy hair, should i get an 'emo' style haircut?
Ive been looking for a change lately, and I happen to like the look of the stereotypical 'emo' style of haircut, the only thing holding me back is i have wavy/curly hair (similar to http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t28/fabochica/c... without product) My hair is very long, about 2 feet, I want to keep most of the length, but get the layered look 'fringe' in front of my face. I was wondering if anyone had tried this before with wavy hair and if it worked for you, or if anyone knew any very good products to help keep my hair straight. My hair is also rather thin.
Straightening my hair is not an issue, i have a good hair straightener and use heat protectors on my hair by CHI to keep my hair healthy. Ive tried products such as garnier sleek and shine, which did nothing. I want to ensure that if I get this kind of haircut I can keep it straight, but my hair tends to get wavy in humidity, or after a long day even when straightened. I dont want super curly bangs in the front of my face if it happens to rain that day.
Chemical straightening is not an option, I dont have the money for it right now.
Im considering a cut such as http://www.shiny-hair.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/... or http://a426.ac-images.myspacecdn.com/01447/52/40/1...
Is this a really bad idea that Im going to regret?

Yes, it should work well for you.
Most of those girls straighten their hair daily. :P
My friend has EXTREMELY curly hair, &
she got a haircut like that.
It turned out well - she just straightens her hair every day.
Just realize it's gonna take maybe like... 20-40 minutes a day to do.

tell your stylist to take out quantity out of your hair (skinny out). deliver a image of the variety you like, additionally. For the frizz, attempt got2b mushy operator whilst that's damp, then blow dry it, and iron it via sections.
