So Ive decided to carry a bento with me for lunch instead of buying food while out, but I havent been able to find any vegetarian bento options that really sound good and that consist of ingredients I could easily find. I can make sushi and onigiri - but I couldnt eat that for lunch every single day.

Im also interested in sticking to traditional japanese recipes, or modified japanese recipes.

Ive had bento with shumai and gyoza in them before, is it possible to make veggie versions of these and how difficult would they be to make? I also thought a few pieces of vegetable tenpura would be good - but I dont know if I could deep fry anything without injuring myself.

I know most bentos have some form of small salad included, what are some good options for this besides just lettuce?

I have to add I dont love tofu - I eat it on occasion, but I couldnt eat it as the main portion of my meal.

I planted morning glories outside at about 3 inches tall that had been starting from seed indoors. The plants finally starting taking off after a few weeks, and nothing bothered them, but recently something has starting chewing at all the leaves. The plants were finally starting to twine around the trellis I set up for them, and whatever eating them chewed off all the stems twirled around the bamboo posts! It only happens at night.

At first we thought it might be a rabbit, but we put mesh cages around the plants and theyre still being eaten every night, so we concluded it must be insects.

I know we have snails and slugs that hang around the garden, but some of the chewed leaves were far off the ground and I doubt the delicate stems of the plant would be able to support a snail or slug without snapping off the whole plant. There was also no evidence of any kind of trail that snails or slugs leave behind.

So my question is, what they heck could be eating my plants and how do I stop them? What are some natural repellents for whatever insects could be doing this.

I had surgery on my sinuses on March 15th to remove a very large cyst and a wisdom tooth that had migrated into my upper sinus and was causing bone deterioration and infection. It was pretty serious, and I ended up having to be rehospitalized because I was in so much discomfort.

Since then Ive been doing very well, but I am still quite swollen by my nose and upper lip and still have a lot of numbness which is uncomfortable. My doctor said this is normal and the numbness would go away as the swelling went down and the pressure on my nerves was relieved, but how long might this take? I know healing takes time but the swelling and numbness is very annoying and uncomfortable and Id like a clearer idea of how long it will take to resolve.

We had a water main pipe break today and the water company sent out an issue that all water could be contaminated and it should only be used for showering and if you need to cook to boil it first with at least a minute. It shouldnt be used for drinking, brushing teeth or washing dishes.

The problem is we cooked potatoes in the water (cubed, peeled potatoes). The water was not brought to a boil before the potatoes were put in, but the potatoes then cooked in the water which was boiling for 20 minutes. Is this safe to eat?

I have a Toshiba TV/DVD Player and the remote stopped working today (changed the batteries a few times... no luck). Problem is the remote is the only way to control access to the 'Game' Channel so that you can play video games on the TV. Theres no input buttons or anything on the actual TV. So my question is how exactly am I supposed to change to the game channel without access to the original remote?

Myself and a group of friends are going to see the parade in NYC for Halloween on saturday, and going out for drinks afterwards, etc. However, were looking for a good place to eat in the area before the parade (around 7 oclock). The parade runs on 6th ave between spring st and 21st St. Were looking for a place that is moderately priced (10-20$ an entree at most). A place that serves drinks would be preferable, and has at least a few options for vegetarians (Im a vegetarian, my friends are not).

I have this old scanner, its a Mustek 1200 UB (note - NOT UB PLUS) but I can only find drivers for Windows XP, I cant find any for Windows XP x64 edition. When I try to run the drivers for just regular XP it doesnt work - says the file is valid but for another machine type.

Is there anywhere I can find drivers for this scanner in x64 compatible edition?

Im really interested in getting a side lip ring (maybe eventually snakebites, but one for now anyway) and Im curious exactly how fast you can remove the initial piercing and exchange it with a retainer. Im graduating college very soon and need to start looking for jobs - so Im going to have interviews, and Im not going to be able to wait a month for the piercing to completely heal before I change it out to a retainer. Im not sure exactly when Im going to get the piercing done, I havent decided yet. Even if I do decide to wait until I have a stable job - I still wont be able to wear the ring to work and Id have to get the piercing on vacation time or something.

What is the earliest that you can safely change a piercing to a retainer and then let the piercing heal the rest of the way with the retainer in. I looked online but there were a lot of mixed answers, so please dont answer unless you a. have the piercing and were told how long, or b. are a piercer/know a piercer. I want the piercing to heal properly and I dont want to have scarring from removing it too early.

I'm trying to figure out the name of a song it's decently old probably 5 years, hip hop kind of dance catchy tune and it lists a lot of girls names (presumably that the singer has slept with) one of which I think was erica. Anyone know what song this is? It was really popular when it came out.

Ive been looking for a change lately, and I happen to like the look of the stereotypical 'emo' style of haircut, the only thing holding me back is i have wavy/curly hair (similar to http://i156.photobucket.com/albums/t28/fabochica/c... without product) My hair is very long, about 2 feet, I want to keep most of the length, but get the layered look 'fringe' in front of my face. I was wondering if anyone had tried this before with wavy hair and if it worked for you, or if anyone knew any very good products to help keep my hair straight. My hair is also rather thin.

Straightening my hair is not an issue, i have a good hair straightener and use heat protectors on my hair by CHI to keep my hair healthy. Ive tried products such as garnier sleek and shine, which did nothing. I want to ensure that if I get this kind of haircut I can keep it straight, but my hair tends to get wavy in humidity, or after a long day even when straightened. I dont want super curly bangs in the front of my face if it happens to rain that day.

Chemical straightening is not an option, I dont have the money for it right now.

Ive downloaded and run the install for City of Heroes, I used the download on the CoH website used to install the game to use a 14 day trial. It prompted me where I wanted to install it for which I inputed D:\City of Heroes. The install ran for a few hours and then finished. When I select the CohUpdated again to run the game, it prompts me for the install directory so I input the same D:\City of Heroes. It runs and I hit next, get sent to the liscence agreement and hit I Accept but then nothing happens - the game doesnt run.

I had previously installed the EU version of the game which ran perfectly fine, however I want to US version and it wont seem to run no matter what I do. Any suggestions?

I have more than the req system stuff, 5 free gigs on the drive I installed it on, and on top of that I have installed and run a trial of this game before with no problems. I have no idea why it isnt working now.

Recently I downloaded Everquest Titanium from a torrent. Once it was done i decompressed the .rar's into the 5 CD iso's. When i mounted the first iso in daemon tools, however, I got this InstallShield Wizard setup error:

Setup has experienced an error.

Please do the following:

-Close any running programs

-Empty your temp folder

-Check your internet connection (internet-based Setup)

Then try to run the setup again.

Error code: -6001

Ive never had this problem with installing a game before, I install a lot of games using iso's and ive never got this message. I did all the 'suggestions' but still nothing - same message.

Anyone have any insight as to what I can do to make it work or why im getting this error?

So i have this featherbed that i use at school... after getting frustrated that the thing wouldnt stay on the bed... i duct taped it in place. now i have the dilemma that im not sure if i can wash the thing without the duct tape getting gooey and sticking to everything, and i have no idea how to get the stuff off - theres no way to take it off by hand or scrape it off.. and the tape covers a large portion of the featherbed. im afraid if i was it and put it in the dryer that im going to end up with one large sticky mess. any suggestions?

Ok, so Ive had a cat Sam for over 8 yrs now and he has Never peed or pooped anywhere but his litterpan before. Then one day he randomly starts pooing on the carpet. As if this wasnt bad enough a week or so later he started peeing everywhere too! He even went in a bed hes had since he was a kitten that he Loves. We havent changed anything in our house, and hes never had any problems with his litter pans or litter, and now that hes confined to our basement hes never done it again down there and he uses the litter pans just fine (we clean them daily). Were afraid to bring him back upstairs for fear that hell do it again. Weve cleaned all the areas in the house where he went, but the few times he comes upstairs he sniffs all around the areas. Putting plastic on the floor never helped as hed go right on the plastic. We really feel bad having to keep him confined to the basement... any suggestions? We know its not a medical problem because hes recently been to the vet and gotten checked out.
