I have absolutely no idea what's happening in Big Brother. Am I the only one?
Am I the only person who finds the idea of a bunch of nobodys thrown into a confined space, so that we can all be entertained by their coping mechanisms, thoroughly distasteful?

BB is an insult to intelligence.
First one was good but after that it went downhill.

I would rather watch paint dry or floorboards warp.
They're worse than nobodies they're dysfunctional wannabe nobodies.
I made reference to the book written by George Orwell not mentioning people living in a house with a Geordie doing a voice over.

Its one of the many signs of the people of this country being told that you don't need talent, integrity or brains to be famous and rich.
So to sum up I have no idea what's happening because I have real stuff to concern me such as the Olympics, the Situation in Georgia or the economic crisis that the world is slipping into whilst people in the UK with no opinions on anything sit and dumbly stare at a flickering screen.

You are not the only one. It could be called voyeurism. (Actually I haven't got a TV - and I'm not the only one ! "Big brother" comes from George Orwell's "1984", where the TVs watch the people - prophetic, eh?)

No, you're not.
From what I gather it's not so much their coping mechanisms on display as their 'non coping' mechanisms.
Voyeuristic and a disgusting abuse of vulnerable people.
