I'm wondering because I got one of those emails that shook its finger at me and said I could have earned three extra points if I had chosen my own best answer instead of leaving it to the community. It never occurred to me until then that people might actually care about Yahoo points. Do you?

Apparently, sales of golliwog dolls have soared since Carol Thatcher's 'private' conversation brought them back into the limelight. But I am wondering what all the fuss is about, when the ugliest dolls on the market (eg: Cabbage Patch, or Bratz) are mainly white.

It's like having someone in the back seat of your car, offering little tidbits of irritating advice.... and it's difficult to thump a speech bubble (and there's another one, telling me it looks like I have a lot of punctuation!).

Am I the only person who finds the idea of a bunch of nobodys thrown into a confined space, so that we can all be entertained by their coping mechanisms, thoroughly distasteful?

Rocketing prices and a promise of worse to come? Negative equity? Recession on the horizon? To want to take over Gordon's job now would be political suicide - wouldn't it?

Only, I've seen plenty of answers that are simply rude comments on the questioner's spelling.

GMTV was fined 2 million pounds by Ofcom last month for letting viewers enter competitions they had no chance of winning.
