Surprise surprise (a hockey question)?
Man, you know its sad when you have to put a hockey question in parenthesses to let people know its a hockey question in a hockey section.
Well, I decided I'd come back early because I decided I'm going to try a minimum of 3 hockey questions a day to sorta get some more hockey questions a day.
I know we all hate prediction questions, but what/who do you think will be the biggest surprise in the 08-09 season?

Tampa Bay. The Blackhawks and the Coyotes will all surprise this year

Not much surprise from my Red Wings, unfortunately. In the opener they went up 5-0 on the Senators, but then got sloppy and let them back in the game by giving up three goals. They held on for the win, but I'd seen too much of that nonsense last year. The 3-0 win over Colorado was better, but what do you expect from playing a bottom dweller? The real test will be their next game, against a legitimate team, the Canucks.

Hi
The surprise of the year will be when most of the new regulars on Y/A admit to knowing nothing about hockey and only being homers.
Thank You

Phoenix. I can see them taking a few teams by surprise and squeaking into the playoffs.

I honestly think Chicago will be the biggest surprise. I think they're going to go pretty far this year.

good surprise = Oilers (for their offseason adjustments and a general weakening in the NW division
bad surprise = Capitals (I fear they won't live up to anywhere near the expectations that were left with them after last season)
