About my car stalling....?

When I was on my way to work yesterday, my car stalled twice. Once at a stop sign and again at a red light. It was fine on my way home. My dad and brother drove the car last night and it was fine. Then this morning it stalled again on the way to work. I was at a red light and it was raining. Do you have any ideas on how I could stop it from stalling? I've been driving all summer and its never done this until now.

PS There was a new battery installed in it Sunday (its Tuesday). I don't know if that has anything to do with it or not.

Thanks in advance!

Update:

Its a 2002 Chevy Trailblazer. I'm not sure what kind of engine...

If the battery was installed by a store, go back and tell them you are having problems, and you want the battery connections and the battery checked.

If it was a do it yourself job, my advice is to be sure the terminals are clean and the connections are tight.

    Clutch could be slipping?

Try the regular (air filter, oil change, plug and leads change, oil and fuel filters etc..) Because it might be missing and somebody that dose'nt spend a lot of time around cars would not b e able to hear the miss, these things should remove the miss
