Need Help and Opinions!?

Alright, I'm 5'10, 180lbs, I'm 17 and a male. I'm trying to lose some weight, trying to get into the 160's. I work out, lift a few weights, do about 100 crunches, and run up and down stairs. for about 30 mins a day. I dont really want to build a bunch of muscle, i just want to be "flat" i guess. Any help would be appreciated!

And for example, this is my normal meal for breakfast lunch dinner

Breakfast- either dont eat, or today i ate one half of a chicken sandwhich, fat free ranch, and 1 piece of whole wheat bread, and one slice of reduced fat cheese

Lunch- side caesar salad, fat free italian dressing )not caesar), and a chicken sandwhich, with cheese, cucumber, lettuce, tomato, and ranch

dinner- probably another sandwhich of some sort

snacks include- 2 handfuls of tostitos, gummy bears, thats it

THANKS FOR THE HELP!

Update:

ive already lost 20 pounds just trying to lose 20 more

OMG where to start. First of all, EAT BREAKFAST. Whole grains and protein will keep you full and give you energy(oatmeal, scrambled eggs, fruit). Remember, you just woke up from, hopefully, 8 hours of sleep and need to re-fuel. No more ranch, gummy bears, or chips, and eliminate anything that has a main ingredient of white flour, sugar, salt, or high fructose corn syrup from your diet. Eat lots of lean meats, veggies, and water(no sodas!). Eat 5 to 6 small meals throughout the day to keep your metabolism going.

Your workouts seem ok, but 100 crunches do NOTHING. Add variety to your exercises. Lifting weights is good. But running up and down stairs might hurt your knees after a while, try jogging and interval training(run 2 mins., sprint for 1min., repeat for 30 mins.). Hope this helps.

Let's start with your diet. In the morning, you should be eating a lot. You should have eggs, whole wheat bread, fruit, and meat. Never skip breakfast- obviously you've heard that it's the most important meal of the day. For lunch you should have lots of fruit and vegetables and a little meat. And for dinner, you can have a sandwich or whatever is healthy and fills you up. Don't snack.

But it's extremely important that you drink lots and lots of milk, juice, and especially water. Go on a run every day, too. Good luck

At 5' 10" and 180 lbs. you are not far from your goal. If you do not eat properly, you body assumes you are starving and beings to store fat. Your eating habits are fairly good. Eat 3 normal, but reduced fat, meals a day with light (I repeat LIGHT) snacks. The late night snacks are the ones that will tend to make your body store the most fat. At this point your workouts should incorporate more aerobic exercises rather than strength exercises. Also be consistent as possible in your workouts. Genetics help determine our basic metabolic rate. Nutrition and exercise will modify that rate. As you loose weight and begin to build muscle your metabolism changes and you tend to burn more fat. Good luck.

Wow, I wish I could eat that much! Well you could lose a little weight with this diet. As long as the amounts are cut in half.

keep lifting weights and be patient .. lifting weight helps you lose weight faster than running .. excercise is the main part and DO NOT STARVE YOUR SELF when you try to starve your self you wont lose weight. infact you will gain. because your bnody needs fat so wat eva u eat your body will turn the carbs or calories into fat..
