looking to go camping around the puget sound this weekend..?

Go across Snoqualmie Pass and take the Roslyn exit and go up toward Salmon La Sac. All sorts of nice inexpensive forest service camp sites along the river and lots of hiking possibilities all less than 2 hours from Seattle. Easton area is nice, too with Lake Easton to play in.

ok, i dont really know any places right around here, but okanogan county is sooo beautiful right now, i always go camping there. it is about 2 hours away but it is really worth it. there are tons of hikes less than 5 minutes from the campsite and there are deer everywhere. it isnt crowded at all cus nobody goes there. it is fabulous and you should check it out. (it is near winthrop and mazama) and by the way, if you go, stop at the mazama county store and pick up some of their beef cus it is the best!!! the campsite i stay at has a really pretty creek right next to it and the water is beautiful so bring a purifier and pump some water. if you want an easy hike go to blue lake trail or there is another that i forgot the name but you climb up and there is a bunch of lakes to see.

deception pass state park on whidbey island is really popular for camping. they have a little lake up there and there's a lot of hiking also.
