I have this pain on my wrist, at the joint (my bone(, I am not sure why, it's been 1 month or over pain in there, and getting more and more pain. Even a simple tasks like writing it cause a lot of pain.

Do you guys know why? My friend scared me by saying it could be a bone-cancer!! Or is it arthritis? I'm about 30 years old. I hope it's not anything to do with bones.

Help!! I am scared seeing a doctor, as I am afraid :(

Update:

im seldom using the computer. but i did always sleeping on one side and i put my palm on udnerneath the pillow for hours (sleeping from night thru morning)... is that could be a reason? But I have stopped it for weeks now... and still pain!

I've had similar pain and in my case, a cyst was causing the problem. Many people will say it could be carpal tunnel, and they may be right. Without an Xray, we're speculating.

After the cyst was removed I had secondary problems as was diagnosed with DeQuervain's tenosynovitis, see link:

I'm willing to bet you either have some severe inflammation (tendon related), cyst, or Carpal Tunnel. Worst case yeah, it could be a tumor but the likely-hood of a malignant tumor in that area is rare.

Most problems are relatively benign in nature and cured with surgery, therapy/rehab or just plain ol' TLC :)

And if it's arthritis, it's not at all the end of the world. Try some Motrin (take with food) and see how you feel. If the pain subsides adequately, it may be arthritic in nature. Not a definitive test but it will guide you better than nothing at all.

Lastly, when you do seek medical treatment, make sure u don't see any old orthopedic MD, make sure he's a hand specialist.

You could have a sprain or fracture. Or, you might have carpel-tunnel syndrome which can be treated. Go see a Dr.--you will feel alot better as you won't have to worry anymore. I doubt it is bone cancer ( my Lord!). I also doubt it is arthritis as this comes on very slowly. I should know-I've got it!

sounds like carperal tunnel, look up on google different stretches you can do before you use your keyboard and write ect, if it bothers you alot you can try anti-inflammitorys like motrin (ask your doctor first, he could hook you up with better stuff then over the counter)

a whole month? hmm it might just be a really bad torn ligament or something. But you should get it looked at as soon as possible. I hope your wrist is ok!
