Why do guys older than me find me hotter than guys my own age?

i have the same problem. im 15 and i get attention from guys about 17 to 25. its so anoying! but i found a guy thats 16 and hes perfect. i love dating a guy thats a year older than me. maybe you can try and do the same. it works well. they are more mature. you are probably more mature and pretty for your age so you come off as looking older. i do the same thing. its a compliment in a way. i have never gotten asked out by a guy in my grade. you will get over it and it will work out just dont worry. its all good. just be yourself and you will find a great guy your age or a few years older. and it will work out great. good luck!!

The older guys who faun over you are unable to attract girls their own age (for whatever reason). They know that they can find some underappreciated younger girl who will overlook their flaws because they like the appeal of dating an older man. If this is the case, you're probably not looking close enough at their flaws and they may not be someone you want to date.

Another possiblity is, they are just infatuated with virginity, and think they are going to separate you from yours. So they are targeting someone younger who perhaps hasn't had a lot of attention from boys, and therefore is likely to still be a virgin. (Let me just say here that I would encourage you to wait until you are married). Frankly, once they have had sex with you, they will not be interested in you anymore. Again, not the type of guys you want to date.

At your age, I would not date anyone more than 2 years older than yourself. When you get to be 25 or so, 5 years is fine. Get to be 30 and 10 years is fine. People go through a lot of changes in the coming years, and they are likely to be in a very different place (mentally, socially, etc.) than you are. Date someone who is too much older and their different goals in life and you will find yourself unhappy. For example, imagine you are still exploring yourself - what you feel is right and wrong, what your values are, etc. - when your older boyfriend is ready to settle down and get married.

I'm 16 n I have had the same problem for the past year. guys around my age (w/in one yr) never seem to make a move but guys 3/4 years older ALWAYS do.. but i really don't want someone that older than me plus i wouldn't be allowed 2 (my parents wouldn't even let me go to prom as a sophomore w a guy friend) buy yeah i think they do it b/c there more confident and mature then guys our own age. i don't know if that means guys our age don't like us or if they just don't have the balls 2 do so!

Wow! I am 17 too, and I have had the same "problem" for a while. Although, I wouldn't say it is necessarily a problem. lol. I date guys a lot older than me, and after talking to them, they say it is because I am so mature. Perhaps it is the same reason for you. You may be mature and carry yourself in a way than is more womanly than little girl like. I think that is a very good thing. Plus there are definantly benefits to dating older guys ;)

Because guys your age seem to just look for hot girls, guys get older more mature they start to know the other qualities that make women beautiful. Or there are the guys that spot out the weak willed girls who have not yet figured out just how good looking they are and they prey on it to get sex.

Because the other 17's are also looking at other girls that are there age, so they see the same thing everyday compared to older men.

The older guys are trying to relive their high school years by hitting on young girls. They were probably losers back when they were back in high school, and they want to change that now.

I don't know why guys your own age don't ask you out. Maybe you come across as cold and intimidating?

Because guys your age know you or have other female options similar to you. You're not much different from their other girls,

Older guys are attracted to you because girls their age already know better than to put up with their crapola. You, on the other hand, can still be "trained" to be the woman they think they want.

That happens to alot of girls. I think it's a maturity issue. Guys in high school often look for a certain type of girl and don't get out of their comfort zone. Don't worry about it :)
