Why didn't Kyle spin Carl out after he got the love tap?
I just watched the replay and Kyle had a fender under him for a lap or two after. I know of past champions who wouldn't have thought twice about rattling Carl's cage. He also could have used "the steering wheel slipped" excuse.

He tried in the very next corner. He did hit Carl but couldn't spin him out. Kyle has wrecked several people instead of trying to pass them this year. He isn't innocent.

Carl explained in his post race interview that Carl stayed high up the track. That was smart on Carl's part. Carl left plenty of room down on the bottom for Kyle to make the pass. If Kyle had dumped Carl in that curve being that high up on the track then it would have looked like aggressive driving [hence; penalty for Kyle]. Kyle quickly caught on to that and went low for the pass but Kyle had already lost his cool and wasn't thinking right. That cost him enough lap time for Carl to go ahead and make the move and complete the pass and then pull away.
If you go back and look at the turn you are talking about I think you'll see he left Kyle plenty of room.

I'm not sure. He probably thought he could get back by until Hamlin came into the picture. Looking back on it I wish Kyle had gotten more aggressive WHEN Carl passed instead of AFTER Carl had won lol.

There's a difference between hitting someone from behind and hitting them in the side. Getting under his quarterpanel would more than likely wreck him, and get Busch penalized for rough driving. He could have hit him in the bumper and gotten away with it, but Busch could not catch Edwards afterward. Busch may have gotten in a "love tap" but these cars need a little stronger than that, and I don't think Busch's car was strong enough.

Kyle also knows what he can and can't get away with too. Carl didn't spin him and he could have, instead he just gave him a tap and go so to speak. If Kyle was such a gentleman than why did he continue to block Edwards to keep him from passing him. Edwards was racing, and he was there to win,and WIN he did.

If i raced for Gibbs i would have to be careful after that stunt they tryed to pull last week. NASCAR isnt really happy with JGR. And they have all the reason not to be. Plus kyle is a "Do.....Shhhhhh!"

Because if you play dirty, you will get it back in spades. Nascar was and is watching. you want to lose points with 2 races left? not hardly.,
