Help with Dell Photo Printer 720?

I am under the impression that this is an existing printer being mated to a new computer. Do you have the printer's "driver" installed in your computer? If not, go to Dell's web-site and see if they have a Vista Compatible "driver" for that 720. Don't use the install CD that may have come with your printer. More than likely, it is WAY out of date. If Dell has a Vista compatible downloadable driver available, download it into your computer. FOLLOW THEIR DIRECTIONS CAREFULLY! You may have to disconnect the printer while doing this. At least, that's what HP instructed me to do while downloading a new HP "driver". I suspect that Dell might be the same way. But, that depends on their instructions, so follow them carefully.

I had to do the same. I installed (downloaded) a new driver for my existing HP printer on a new Vista computer and now everything works fine.

Do you top off your ink cartridges your self? if so you will possibly no longer have enable the sponge take in sufficient of the ink or enable it set long sufficient. If no longer that's truly useful to look into paying for a "top off" kit if available to your cartridge so which you will top off those colours.
