Is Anyone Else Having Problems With Safari 5?
I just "updated" my browser to safari 5 on my MAC. What a mistake. This browser just plain runs crappy in too many ways to list here. I'm just wondering if anyone else is having problems _ not just issues, I'm talking real problems _ with Safari 5. What is yours doing and did you come up with a way to fix it?
7 AnswersSoftware1 decade agoThis Is Annoying. Can I Shut This Off?
When my desktop PC is put into "sleep mode", the power light blinks. I find that very annoying. Is there any way of shutting off that blinking power light? I don't need an annoying blinking light to tell me that my PC is in sleep or stand-by mode. IF ..... the working word ...IF...there is a way around this, how do I do it?
3 AnswersSecurity1 decade agoCan I Do This Without Many Problems?
O.K. Here's the situation. My desk top PC is 64 bit capable (AMD Athlon 64). Customer service also informed me that it is a 64 bit capable PC. But, my current Windows Vista operating system is only 32 bit. When I upgrade to Windows 7, can I load in the 64 bit version without much hassle? I know that I'll have to "update" some of my "third party" software, but that is no problem. My question is, can I upgrade from 32 bit Vista to 64 bit 7 without much hassle?
1 AnswerSoftware1 decade agoHas Anyone Tried This? How Did You do It? I want to send DVD player video to an LCD computer monitor.?
I have an Acer LCD widescreen computer monitor with both a VGA and a DVI-D input. I want to use it as a monitor from a progressive scan home DVD player. The DVD player has component video outputs. Audio is not an issue; that part was a cinch. IS there an easy way to send the video from the DVD player to the computer monitor without having to go through a computer?

I have an iMAC with the Leopard operating system (which I am still new to learning how to use). I want to add a printer/scanner/copier combo to it. What would any of you iMAC Leopard owners recommend that is not majorly expensive? Please, I only need experienced suggestions from those who are using MAC Leopard.
1 AnswerPrinters1 decade agoComcast Mailbox Problem?
Is anyone else having a problem with the Comcast e-mail box failing to display that you have e-mails waiting. Comcast was not helpful (like that's anything new) and upgrading flashplayer which they use didn't fix the problem. I just want to know if it is just me or if others are having this problem. If you found away around it, what did you do?
1 AnswerOther - Internet1 decade agoA Question to iMAC Owners?
Have any of you installed Windows Vista or XP on your iMACs? If so, how good or bad is it working? I need to get some feedback before considering attempting this. I only want to hear from those who have done this.

I am running this through Comcast Cable. It is the Microsoft Windows ( the one that "everyone" is using). Does this have anything to do with the problem?
