If God is love why...?

talk about profiling,

as a Christian i hate war, and capitol punishment, nope.

+ the poor should definatly be helpped

The majority of christians don't have a strong relationship with christ and yes God is love whether or not the christians act like it though we should be acting like it and it makes me sick that our actions and sending people away from God though i am guilty of it myself... i am a republican but I work with the poor alot i help out at a shelter i dont think we disregard the needs of the poor though i am sure some do and we suppport war because in the bible it says there is a time for war and it also says there will be wars when God returns... not saying that that we want wars so he will return or that we want wars to begin with but there is never going to be world peace untill Jesus returns though we should try to make peace with all that we can and the capital punishment i have mixed feeling about that it does say there is a time to kill and a time to live and maybe the time to kill is not out of cold blood but to kill to keep others alive that is part of war but i am really really not sure how a feel about capital punishment so i can't really answer that for you.... i hoped i helped

Sometimes even God was in favor of war. War is ok if used to defend. This is not to say that God is in favor of the war in Iraq or not. But the truth is, He sometimes says war is necessary. Capital punishment is a tough subject- but think of it this way. Capital punishment is given to those that are criminals. God even had His only Son die on the Cross, which was capital punishment of the day, so that we might live. I am a republican and I do not disregard the needs of the poor. And the poorest, most innocent person that I defend is the unborn, because they cannot even speak for themselves. I know that this is not going to be a popular answer, but it is the truth that I live by.

The OT is full of wars and one group of people killing another is because if evil people would have been allowed to continue to live, they would have raised evil children, who would have raised evil children, and then soon the end of the world would have had to come because of the widespread evil. And evil groups are being allowed to continue to live and breed now and soon the end of the world will come about.

Yes, a loving God wanted to keep a peace filled world and in order to do that He had to make sure the evil people were eliminated.

God is also just and protective of those who are innocent. We have a responsibility towards God.

Well, finally Chris and I agree on something. Maybe it's time for the second coming!

Because sometimes capital punishment is called for.

dont get me wrong, I know killing is wrong and I know death only leads to death, but some people just like...if they continue to live, more people wuld be hurt and die.

Take into example Adolf Hitler. Sure we didnt kill him, but think about it. if he hadnt died, how many innocent people would have?
