Has the xbox glitches been fixed?
Listen I want to buy a xbox 360 but I'm worried that it will become damaged after a few weeks.Have they fixed it so it will last longer or dosen't break.Just to make sure has anyone here bought an xbox and like maybe a year ago and is still using it fine?What are some good ways to preserve an xbox 360/or should I just buy a ps3

First of all, NEVER buy a PS3, you are wasting your money and missing out. I bought my 360 in Winter 2007 and it did get Red ring of Death this summer, but, that is because it was made when using the old Hardware and 33% of 360's made before August 2007 get RRoD. 16% of 360's made after August 2007 get RRoD. So you have a better chance of getting a brand new Xbox 360 that will never RRoD, then getting an old model. I have friends that bought old Xbox 360's and they have never got the RRoD. I was just unlucky. And it only took 15 days to get a new one, so whatever.
Also, when you do get it, DON'T keep it on carpet because that will make it break. Keep it on wood or glass, and don't put it in like a small space like a bookcase or a TV stand with no back. Make sure there is a lot of space in the back so that the hot air has somewhere to go and not back into the system.

Dont worry about the RROD anymore.
Very xbox 360 has the new Jasper chip
which prevents you from getting the RROD
and don't listen to guy that say get ps3.
Ps3 suks there a waste of money!

I'm not sure where you got the idea in your head that the PS3 doesn't break but let me assure you it does. The only way it can become damaged in a week is if you damage it.

falcon chip is in elits but buy the 60 has the falcon and jasper chips whithc rudeuces rrod alot

dude get a ps3... graphics are much better, online is free, AND there are no bugs and glitches in it! i have had a ps3 for about 2 years and there is nothing wrong with it. your better off going with ps3 because the RRoD are still going around. my cousin got them 2 weeks ago and my friend got them like 4 days ago. hes giving me his xbox and im getting it fixed.. if you have any questions about ps3 or 360 contact me at CJOWNZ288@aim.com or Cjramboni@yahoo.com i would prefer on aim.
