Hello, I have a 2000, Pontiac grand am. I was getting my gas regulator fixed the other day by my back yard guy and while he had the hoses off he saw like this butter looking stuff. He said it's due to coolant and oil mixing and the oil head gasket needs be replaced. He also noted that it is fine to drive on for the moment due to winter, but once spring comes around or starts running hot that's when the issue will get worse.

Does that sound right? If so how much does that cost around to get fixed or should i just get rid of the car?

My sister dropped off her laptop to me to solve her laptop issue. long story short when turning on the laptop the logo would come up then go black screen.

I download Linux on to a DVD and running it through disc. I can see all the files on the HDD so assume it's windows 7 is failing to start. So i inserted my personal win 7 disc and attempt to repair the files. Well when i try to do that Win 7 requires to restart to do it's thing. When it restarts it tried to boot up normal through the HDD and goes black screen and fails. So i tried forcing it starting back to the dvd drive on restart, but, win 7 becomes stupid and acT like nothing happened.

So is there a way around this? I really don't want to copy all the files and reformat the computer and reinstall everything.

Hello, my old speaker was making funny sounds in my grand am 2000 so i am attempting replace it with some pioneer speakers http://i1169.photobucket.com/albums/r502/joevsyou/... well instructions suck and i not sure what i am doing wrong.

I wired the white cable that was provided to my wiring has mine did not have the slide over clips on the ends. I believe the one with the black round tube like is positive so i did following for negative. http://i1169.photobucket.com/albums/r502/joevsyou/...

So i flipped the wiring around in case i got the +/- wrong and still no good. Since the box had 2 speakers i tried the other speaker and no luck.

ok first off i built my first pc. and tyhe volume is soo low. all the bars are up 100% but sound like it's on 10%. my last pc i only had the bar like 1/4 way up and speakers was loud.

the speakers are not built in, they do not have any dials on them

so far i ran into one issue is the volume. i am running on windows 7 home. i go control panel to sound it says realtek hd audio. i did what i can but the running out of ideals. i made sure the drives updated. i made sure all the bars 100%

i was cutting crass and i heard my blade just keep hitting something to i lifted it up.. right side in air left side on ground. and i find a string warped around the wire so i pulled that out and when i put it back down oil was coming out of the air filter. so i took air filter cleaned the oil out and smother it in gas but the mower still wont start.

what can i try on my own before i pay someone
