What do you like to do in Seattle?

Visiting Seattle in September...any suggestions besides the Space Needle? What are your favorite spots to eat? We will defin. go to the Pike's Market and there are a ton of spots to eat...have any favorites there? Any suggestions will be great.

And what about the Underworld tour? Should we do that?

I don't know about the Underground tour in Pioneer square, it takes awhile and so drafty while walking down below; i wouldn't recommend it

The Sister's mini restaurant has great food and/or Beecher's at Pike place market

If your into Asian flair then there's the Chinatown district with: Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese, Chinese, and other food & drinks + shops you can find

Enjoy your trip to the Emerald city

well, i am a big time seattleite and I have lived al over. Esp. buy the market (pike's). i LOVE a place caled flying fish on first Ave. and Bell. I think (not exactly sure. it is just a little walk along the market and a little more and you will have an amazing experience, cheap... no. but the food is exquisite and I go there on great nights. I enjoyed their spicy lobster wok last time. A must go to. Another hit that is for that "going out on the town" experience is El Gaucho. It is the BEST food you can buy in a formal (nice clothes) but dim and relaxed setting. bring your wallet though.. it isn't cheap.

I really enjoy Pacific PLace. it is a mall that has a HUGE Nordstrom's (we started it why shouldn't we), a tiffany's a movie theater, and countless designer and cool shops-even a great barnes and noble. they have coffee(THANK GOD!) and there is seating.

Enjoy the theater in seattle,it's fantastic. I love to go with my class as much as i can. The seattle children's theater, the fif. Ave. (feat. Shrek the musical before Broadway, yay) and the ACT.

I really would go to a hotel (or at least get a pamphlet from one) that offer pamphlets on local fav's in the city They have specially deals and coupons in them.

Another last restaurant is Beths Cafe. OMGGGGG! they have 12 egg omelets endless hash-browns and are open 24/7. Don't go on a Sunday though (unless you want to be standing in a block long line in the Seattle rain) because it is packed. On a normal day though you can get in no prob. It has been featured in some of the best os Seattle's travel magazine's, a must see.

Well, now i am rambling so i hope i helped and...

ENJOY your trip. I love this city and i think you'll like it as well.

    P.s.

I think you should do the tour if you have some spare time, but if your time is extremely limited~~skip it. It's a cool thing but not one to die over. And don't try to pack your day full either. Have some fun OHHHHHH~~you have to ride the duck! It is like a tour of seattle, but under 20 bucks and it includes a water ride. It is so much fun. I am doing it for the second time wth my mom and we both had a ball (even for us seattleites) It is a big truck that can float so they go in Like Lake Union I think. They show you all the stuff that you should see so I can stop typing~~enjoy. Here is the website for the duck. www.ridetheducksofseattle.com/
