How do I keep my subwoofers from shutting off???
I have a pretty mean system in my 91' laser and for some reason my subs will just shut off out of the blue! Cant figure it out, I have a good power cable, fuse & ground wire.. even hooked up a new Alpine head unit... any help?

ive had this happen, as the other person above stated check the amps protection light next time this happens. But in my case, the protection light didnt turn on, my sub was not powerful enough for the amp, and my sub its self would shut off not the amp. (so the protection light didnt turn on)..
my situation i had to buy a new sub that could handle the amp...

sounds like your amp might be overheating that would be the ony reason they would shut off nxet time it happens check your amp to see if it is protect mode or extremely hot
