Question on tropical fish tank.?

I have a 15 gallon fish tank set up with 4 platys and 2 guppies. Right now they seem to be doing fine but for some reason none of them will mate. My only luck with the a platy having a baby was when I first bought her from the pet store. (yes there is a male platy and guppies I'm sure). I bought I water test kit but I have no idea what the numbers are ment to read. I have Hardness, Alkalinity, Ph, No3 and No2. The tank has been up for about 7 months now it has a filter and a heater that I have at 78 degree F. Also there has been a sort of spot brown algae growing that keeps coming back after I clean the sides down.

To make sure you have a male look at the anal fin on males it is sward shaped on females it is fan shaped. To get them to mate raise the temp to 81 and do a 50% water change making sure the new water is the same temp as the tank water. When adding the new water the last gallon of water you should make it "rain" and hopefully you will have fry in about 28/30 days.

not in case you choose any fish left, and a 2 foot tank can't be super adequate, you may evaluate the reality that the size of tank has to in wonderful condition in a heater not a fish water heater as turtles can chew those and harm them, you in addition to would choose a stable clear out and a basking spot with lamp on a dry area so this could shrink the gap for the turtle, additionally a 2 foot tank in simple terms isn't super adequate for a transforming into turtle, the turtle is probable to eat your fish as nicely so it quite is not cautioned, in simple terms right of success honey
