How long does a previous landlord have in the state of Tennessee to refund a deposit?

or provide me with a list of any repairs to be subtracted from the deposit?

    Its 45 days in my area but I don't know about Tennessee. If nobody here is able to say for your state you can call the local gov't office that handles landlord./ tenant problems - they will know. Look in the blue pages for something like "Lanlord/ Tenant Affairs".

    I would say within 30 days. But read over your lease to see if the landlord put a specific time frame in there that is different from that.

    Thirty days. Then you can sue.
