School lunch ideas???

My son loves Peanut Butter and jelly, and peanut butter and banana sandwiches, the only problem is the schools in my area now are not allowing peanut butter to be in bag lunches. This is the only thing my kid eats on a sandwich, that doesnt require refrigeration.. So I need some ideas on what to send him with. I am at a loss, I want him to eat healthy meals, not all prepackaged items.

Nutella still has the nut issue.

Will he eat hummus (garbanzo beans)?

Cheese doesn't require refrigeration really, either, and you can even do cheese and fruit.

My son has snacked on kidney beans, also.

I have to say, I have sent my son to school with turkey for pretty much his entire education (he's a creature of habit!). It's in a bag with a cold drink - can be frozen if water or juice - and cold fruit, and the turkey has cold lettuce and just a tiny amount of mayo. He has NEVER had any problems with that, even though as a high school junior, he now he keeps his lunch in an outdoor locker in California.

I have also mixed tuna with ranch sauce, particularly in the winter when I am not too concerned about his lunch bag heating up.

I'd love to know the reason why. The only reason I can think of is that someone might there might be allergic. But if it's less than that, I'd ask the principal to waive that requirement for my son because peanut butter is a very healthy thing to bring for lunch, and there are not tons of alternatives that are as healthy. That said, fruit & veggies and trail mix (probably with peanuts) are great, as is yogurt. Leftovers from dinner are even better.

If you want to eat truly healthy, lose body fat consistently, normalize your blood pressure, cholesterol levels, prevent cancer, and even boost your brain health and energy levels, you may have heard all over the news that the Paleo Diet has been found to be one of the best methods of achieving all of these benefits compared to any other popular "fad" diets out there. Go here https://bitly.im/aMNza

The truth is that the Paleo Diet will never be considered a fad because it's just simply the way that humans evolved to eat over approximately 2 million years. And eating in a similar fashion to our ancestors has been proven time and time again to offer amazing health benefits, including prevention of most diseases of civilization such as cancer, heart disease, alzheimers, and other chronic conditions that are mostly caused by poor diet and lifestyle. One of the biggest misunderstandings about the Paleo Diet is that it's a meat-eating diet, or a super low-carb diet. This is not true

I always bring some type of sandwich or bagel to school. And then I will buy snacks in school. Sometimes apple slices, or little cans of cereal. Or even french fries. The only time I buy is when there are hamburgers and pizza

You might have to ask about Nutella because it is made from hazelnuts. Does he like cold-cuts? I think an ice pack would do just fine to keep it cool until lunch time.
