Coronado Springs Resort WDW?????
We are going to the Coronado on September 12th. I was wondering which area to request(if possible) RANCHOS, CABANAS, CASITAS.
Which one did you stay at, enjoy most, closer to buses, better for children, cleaner, prettier, etc.
We have never stayed there and i am extremely worried we won't like it. i did however find out the the have great restaurants so i'm not worried about the food anymore. So if you have any criticism or praise about the Coronado i would appreciate it. Thank you.
the "advice" you guys are giving me are websites i have already looked at. most of you gave no opinions why answer these questions if your responses are all the same. i was wanting actual comments. but thanks for you generic ones anyway.

I typically recommend that my clients request building 9B for proximity to both the "Dig Site" pool area and the main building with food court, etc. It isn't a bad walk to the bus either.
Bldg. 8A is great for the pool & buses but a little farther from the food court.

Well each of those areas have a bus stop.
It is just personal experience. They kids probably will want to be closer to the pool so that is the Cabanas area.
Have fun you will really like it. It is a great property, and you really feel like you are in the South West when you are there! If you want to read a good article Coronado Springs you should check out http://www.orlandofuntickets.com/Disney_Coronado_S...
have fun!

Here's a great website that talks about which area is most convenient to what and also has a lot of guest reviews. It's better than anything I could tell you: http://allears.net/acc/faq_cs.htm (and there are pictures!)
There's not one place that is convenient to everything. They are each near different things, so just look at what is closest to each one and pick which will be best for your family.
I think you will like it. I'm not sure what is worrying you specifically, but all the Disney resorts are nice.
If you do decide which area you want to request, ask when you reserve, and call again the week before and request again. But still, don't forget you may not be able to get what you request.

You can request an area, but you may not get it. Here's a map of the resort.

The people at Disney are very helpful, and if you have specific questions about the resort that www.allearsnet.com doesn't answer, then you could call the resort directly, and they'd be happy to help you. Another resource is to look for this info at www.disboards.com, a very active community with lots of excellent info on WDW and Orlando.

Go to intercot.com and then on the top click on resorts. There will be a description of each resort and a property map to pick which building will best suit your needs. Be warned, CS is a huge resort and it took us a 10 minute drive to get from the room to the food court. If there is a convention there that week the people at the convention will get closer rooms than you so don't forget to ask. The food court (Pepper Market) also charges you for table service even though you get the food yourself, it's rediculous. It was my least favorite Disney resort.

This isn't smart to me when you consider that they're presently redesigning the rooms. in line with threat the CM misunderstood or have been given his/her tips incorrect. here is an replace: I called Disney to plot our next trip and asked approximately this rumor on an analogous time as I had the agent on the telephone. She became extremely knowledgeable, stayed at Coronado Springs this previous March, and recommended me that Disney has no such plans to tear it down. She even reported the menu is being as much as date in the countless eateries on the hotel. i think of this is sufficient data to place this rumor to kick back.
