What % of the questions in the hockey section are about hockey?

What do you think the percentage is? I think maybe 50% hockey questions, 25% AT&T questions, 25% other questions.

Update:

And since someone thinks this is adding to the problem; I'll add a question I was going to ask anyway. Do you get excited for the preseason?

Update 2:

There will be pre season games on TSN as well.

It looks to me that the default section for questions becomes hockey if you use anything other than an alpha-numeric in your question. The fact that the people who post the questions don't select the right category suggests that they aren't all that bright to begin with and may have already purchased that super sized Liberian silverr plated 20 dollar bill (worth 1.25) for the low, low price of $20.00.

It never used to be this bad. But even in the 'old days' ever third or fourth question was who's going to win the cup or who's better Sid or Ovie.

I really think we should answer all the questions placed in this section as if they were about hockey whether they are or aren't. What's worse a person who doesn't read the category and select it properly before finalizing their post or someone who doesn't bother to answer the question being asked?

First NHL game I saw was a preseason. Buffalo vs Pittsburgh Sept 1971 - First game Sabres ever played. Was held in my hometown of Brantford. Back in those days training camps were held in small towns and the Pens held their camp in Brantford. I got excited for that game. I don't anymore. If playoff hockey is 6x better than theregularr season hockey then exhibition games are about 1/2 as good as a regular season game.

The outcomes of pre-season games is nothing to get excited about. It's about determining how well new acquisitions and rookies on the teams you follow will play and if they will make the team.

A bonus this year is there are some pre-season games being televised on Sportsnet Canada so we will be able to see how they are doing!

    Hi

I have to echo Joeys statement and ask what did your original question have to do with hockey. It is about like pointing at a person laying on a busy road going I sure hope they don't get hit. In the end you did nothing to stopping the pizza guy from running over them. In fact you even tipped him an extra couple dollars.

Yes I get excited, I enjoy watching the future players out there.

    Thank You

Well, out of the last 100 questions, I counted 47 that have to do with hockey.

Yes, because it means that the regular season is right around the corner.

So I guess this question would be categorized as other questions? In other words you're not helping the problem.

Thanks for the question even though you thumbed me I'll give you my answer.I don't get real excited till the opener but it does get exciting for me to see the Flyers take the ice for the first time.Although the results are meaningless.
